How do I calculate Tent Size to Comfortably Hold Guests for an Outdoor Wedding?

  • Tables & Chairs: Allot 100 square feet for every 8′ diameter round table (seats 8)
  • Dancing Space: Allot 9 square feet per every two people who dance (1/3 – 1/2 of guests may dance at any given time)
  • Buffet Tables/Caterer/Bar: Allot 200-300 sq ft
  • Head table (including chairs): Allot 200 sq ft
  • Gift Table & Cake Table: Allot 100 sq ft
